SV WATER COLOR DEPARTED HILO HAWAII ON AUGUST 1ST ENROUTE VICTORIA, BC. MARINERS ARE REQUESTED
TO KEEP A SHARP LOOKOUT AND MAKE REPORTS TO COAST GUARD HONOLULU, HI OR ANY NET CONTROL STATION
ON 14.300MHZ.

not a sailboat, it is a fishing boat, bimini is fiberglass, upper bridge for steering
Communications    : we believe the electrical system to be down. Channel 16 (12, 14 also used)  There is VHF on board,
not functioning.Last Contact received: March 30, 2016 9:22pm, off the coast of cozumel

Itinerary         : They were to be back on Isla Mujeres Thursday April 1

Comments          : Search crews boats, planes, helicopters have been searching since Friday.  We have professionals with water and current information and expert govt agencies.  The Mexican government is involved along with 10,000 + usd that was raised in a matter of 24 hours.
